Ada Lenia Mena, Esq. is dedicated to helping everyday people solve legal problems. Born in Nicaragua, Ada migrated to the US with her children to achieve the American dream. Through that process she successfully faced the many hardships people face in achieving the American dream, and saw so many others that struggle through these hardships. This led her to pursue her studies in law to help the everyday people solve their legal problems.

Ada’s Studies

Ms. Mena graduated Magna Cum Laude and through the Honors College of Florida International University with a degree of Bachelor of Business Administration and a double major in Finance and Management of Information Systems. In 2012, she decided to enroll in the College of Law of Florida International University and graduated in December 2016. In fact, she acquired her law degree while working full time as a Claims Specialist with Social Security Administration.

Ada’s Experience

Ada has over 17 years of experience working on Social Security Disability and Supplemental Security Income claims as a claims specialist for the Social Security Administration.  This experience gave her an in-depth knowledge of Social Security’s requirements to support allowance based on income, resources, legal status and other non-disability issues.

Since Obtaining her law degree/license to practice law, Ada has helped her clients in the areas of family, immigration, and disability law.
